If you're new to retinol, the 0.1% concentration is recommended: active enough to deliver results, gentle enough to respect your skin's tolerance. Retinol is not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women.

Retinol is photosensitising — it makes the skin more sensitive to sun exposure. That's why it should only be applied in the evening. We recommend using sun protection the day after each application to shield your skin from UV rays.

Retinol doses enhance your beauty routine without replacing it: you can continue using your usual products (except those also containing retinol).

Where are Duolab treatments developed and produced?

All our treatments are created and produced in Switzerland. We control every step from formulation to capsule production, allowing us to guarantee full traceability.

Why single-dose format instead of a traditional jar or tube?

The single-dose format is at the core of our proprietary technology — it's the only way to effectively protect active ingredients from any degradation or oxidation.

Each capsule hermetically seals the active ingredients, ensuring zero light exposure and no contact with air. This means that with every application, the active ingredients are 100% effective.

In a traditional jar, oxidation begins the moment it's opened. A retinol in a jar can lose up to 80% of its concentration within six months at 25°C (PubMed data). How does Minilab maintenance and repair work?

In the event of a technical malfunction, the Minilab must be returned to DuoLab for analysis and repair. A replacement Minilab will be provided as quickly as possible to ensure continuity of your DuoLab experience.

In the event of damage resulting from misuse, accident, or deterioration unrelated to a technical defect, repair or replacement costs may be charged to the customer.
