The single-dose format is at the heart of our proprietary technology — it is the only way to effectively protect active ingredients from any degradation or oxidation.

Each capsule hermetically seals the active ingredients to guarantee zero light exposure and no contact with air. This means that with every application, the active ingredients are 100% effective.

In a traditional jar, oxidation begins as soon as it is opened. A retinol in a jar loses up to 80% of its concentration within six months at 25°C (PubMed data). In a Duolab dose, each active ingredient retains 100% of its potential until application. This is what explains the visible and immediate performance of our skincare products.

This format also allows Duolab products to be stored for up to 3 years unopened without any loss of efficacy, while a traditional jar can be kept for 6 to 12 months maximum after opening.

The Duolab range works just as well on its own as combined with your usual routine.

However, we advise against mixing several powerful active ingredients (retinol + exfoliating acids, for example), or overloading your routine by using a retinol cream on top of the Duolab Retinol dose.

The Minilab is a device that creates a cosmetic emulsion on the spot, just before application.

This freshly prepared emulsion promotes optimal absorption of active ingredients by the skin.

The Minilab is therefore an essential step to ensure the high quality of Duolab skincare.

In the event of a technical malfunction of the Minilab, it must be returned to DuoLab for analysis and repair. A replacement Minilab will be made available to you as soon as possible to ensure the continuity of your DuoLab experience.

In the event of damage resulting from misuse, an accident, or deterioration unrelated to a technical defect, repair or replacement costs may be charged to the customer.

At Duolab, each active ingredient is stored in its most suitable environment to fully preserve its stability and efficacy. This is why our system relies on two separate capsules: one contains an aqueous phase, the other an oil phase.

Mixed and emulsified only at the time of application, they release the full power of the active ingredients for optimal efficacy.

At DUOLAB, each active ingredient is protected until the very last moment, so it is delivered at 100% of its efficacy.

We have therefore decided to offer 2 retinol concentrations based on your tolerance and needs.

If you are new to retinol, we recommend starting with our beauty shot, Retinol. The 0.1% concentration is active enough to produce results, yet gradual enough to respect your skin's tolerance.

Then, once your skin has adjusted, you can switch to our beauty shot, Retinol+, which offers the highest concentration at 0.3%.

How does it work?

It reduces micro-contractions of the facial muscles, which are responsible over time for expression lines (forehead, crow's feet, frown lines).

The more the muscles remain contracted, the deeper the folds become. The peptides soothe this excessive muscle contraction, reducing the tension that causes wrinkles to deepen.

One of the biological signs of skin ageing is the loss of skin hydration.

Hyaluronic acid, present in both the dermis and epidermis, captures water molecules to serve as a reservoir. However, its concentration gradually decreases in the epidermis as we age.

In Duolab formulas, we use two types of hyaluronic acid to act on both stimulating collagen production and preventing water loss. This delivers an immediate and long-lasting plumping effect.

Astaxanthin comes from the microalga Haematococcus pluvialis, a slightly orange-coloured alga native to arid regions of the world.

This alga naturally produces astaxanthin to protect itself from oxidative stress when conditions become harsh: intense sunlight, lack of water. It is a powerful protection mechanism that we harness for your skin.

Retinol is an active ingredient derived from vitamin A.

Dermatologists champion it for its versatility and visible results. Unlike many trendy ingredients, retinol has been the subject of decades of clinical studies.

Introduced in cosmetics in the 1970s for acne, it quickly established itself as a benchmark for combating the signs of skin ageing.
